Jane Eyre, Title Plate, Fritz Eichenberg
I’ve been re-reading Jane Eyre … I forgot how excellent that book is.
I’ve always felt the illustrations from this 1943 edition to be oddly well suited to the book. I could only find a few online, and I haven’t got my brother’s copy to scan.
